Suncoast Coffee was founded by two U.S. Air Force veterans who met while serving at Tyndall AFB. They fell in love with the Valparaiso area after relocating due to hurricane Michael, deciding to commit the next chapter of their lives to bettering the local community. They set their sights on revitalizing a local landmark in downtown Valparaiso. With a mutual love of coffee, and after an uphill economic battle, Suncoast Coffee was born.
Suncoast Coffee is proud to brew the highest grade of coffee beans sourced exclusively through local roasters in the Florida Panhandle. That means you can be assured you’re receiving the freshest coffee around. We are committed to sourcing beans from roasters with fair-trade policies which support independent farmers.
We value local community and small business. During the building and site planning process we had a decision: Build new or restore. Part of the decision to restore was to keep the small-town local charm of Valparaiso alive. We’re delighted to say that much of what you see when you enter our facility was accomplished at the hands of local business owners from our own Valparaiso/Niceville area—many of whom had stories and memories of the property that we now occupy at 73 S John Sims Pkwy. That’s when we realized that we weren’t just restoring a building, but building relationships.
